Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight are free for the first time in more than 10 years today after Berry escaped from the Cleveland residence that had been holding them to call 911.

Two of the women went missing 10 years ago, and the third disappeared in 2000.  The families had feared the worst after countless hours of searching hadn't revealed anything.  That all changed when Cleveland 911 operators recieved a frantic plea for help from Amanda Berry.

Listen To the 911 Call Made From Amanda Berry

A neighbor heard screams from the house and rushed to the home where he found a woman who told him she was trapped inside.  She told him that her name was Amanda Berry and said, "I've been kidnapped, and I've been in this house a long time, and I want to leave right now."  The man helped to kick the door down, and she also had a child with her who she said belonged to her captor.

The three women have since been taken to a hospital where they were reported to be in good medical condition.  Three brothers were arrested in the case, including a 52-year-old man who is a former school bus driver.

Stories like this are rare, so we should all take a minute to enjoy the momentary happy ending before the healing begins.
