As Tyler, The Creator unleashes his sixth solo album, Igor, he also drops off a Playboi Carti collab from the project on Friday (May 17). On "Earfquake," the pair show off their singing chops as they make a plea for their leading lady to stay, with the help of Dev Hynes and Charlie Wilson.

The song is definitely on the softer side, with a mellow feel and spacey chords carrying the tune. "Don’t leave! It’s my fault!" Tyler, Dev and Charlie sing on the hook. "'Cause when it all comes crashing down—I need you!/'Cause you make my earth quake/Oh you make my earth quake!"

Earlier this month, Tyler seemingly gave confirmation of rumors of a new album by releasing a snippet of new music to YouTube and social media, though he didn't add any details about the track. A few days later, he officially confirmed that Igor was on its way, and it'd be arriving on May 17. The album follows his last studio effort, 2017's Flower Boy, and the Grinch-inspired EP, Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss' The Grinch, in November of 2018.

As for Carti, this marks his first musical appearance in some time. The rapper has been rather quiet since his 2018 debut effort, Die Lit, save for a select handful of features. Back in November, Carti previewed some music from his upcoming project, Whole Lotta Red, during a tour stop in Seattle, Wash., but he's yet to release anything in full. Hopefully this appearance alongside Tyler means there's more to come from Carti soon.
