We all know that Michigan's Upper Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, especially for those who love the outdoors. However, finding an affordable home can prove difficult if you want to live near certain things. However, this home in Rapid River will only set you back $14,900, but you'll have to put in a little work on it.
This home is the cheapest home available right now in the Upper Peninsula. It is a three-bedroom, one-bath, 1,080 sqft home. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it is livable at the moment. The Zillow ad itself says that it "needs some TLC" and would be a "great starter home or as an investment property."
If you have ever shopped for a home, you begin to notice patterns and red flags. Some of the big red flags that cause people to shy away from a home are phrases like "needs some TLC" or an ad that only shows the outside of the home. Well, you are in luck friends, this listing has both of those red flags.
To be honest though, if the home is structurally sound, I would love the opportunity to take on a home like this and fix it up. It isn't obnoxiously big, has a detached garage, and is right across the street from a baseball diamond. Add on the fact that it is in the U.P. and it seems like it would be a great place to live.
