A place to give the homeless of Genesee County a place to warm up during the winter opened on Monday. According to ABC 12, the Center for Hope warming shelter opened for the season in the Catholic Charities facility in Flint. It's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the end of March. This warming center is different from many others because it's open 24 hours a day and there is no limit on how long patrons can stay. Besides warming people, the center will also feed those in need three meals a day and provide them with winter clothing. If you'd like to help, click here for more information.
