'Words With Friends' is one of the most popular social media games on the market right now, and it might be growing in an unexpected direction.
According to a new Venture Beat survey, they might want to change the name to 'Words With Friends - With Benefits'.
The big find is that one out of ten 'WWF' players have hooked up as a direct result of the game!
A while ago, we reported the first ever marriage resulting from a 'WWF' game, but who needs all that commitment?
47 percent of players say they have a crush on someone they’re playing Friends with right now. About one in three say they would be more willing to hook up with someone if they were good at the game, while 68 percent said they would date someone who beat them in it.
About one of four have exchanged their 'Words With Friends' username instead of a phone number when meeting someone. 44 percent say they have flirted with someone via the in-game chat.
