Cedar Point Forced To Close Due To High Winds

One of the nations greatest amusement parks was forced to close down on Monday due to a weekend of damaging winds.

Cedar Point won't be opening today after a devastating weekend of high winds forced the park to close down on Monday. A spokesperson from the park stated that there is not enough electrical power to operate the rides...

"Crews from Ohio Edison are working diligently to repair Causeway power lines as quickly as possible,"

Soak City (which is also located on the Cedar Point grounds) will also be closed. The park is set to reopen on Tuesday.
