Michigan Is The Most Romantic State In The Nation

Looking for love this Valentines Day?  Pack your bags and head to Michigan because we here in "The Mitten" know what romance is all about!

Plenty Of Fish did a study to find out where the most romantic singles lived, and Michigan topped the list.

I wouldnt call the study "scientific" but the site looked for keywords in their members profiles and based it off of the following terms.

Holding hands
Summer sunsets
Cuddling by the fire
Walks on the beach
Candlelit dinners
Star gazing/Starry Nights
Sunday morning coffee
Bubble baths
Hot chocolate in winter
Chocolate
Romantic massages

The study found out that single men in Michigan are 74% more romantic than the national average!

You see that ladies?!  74% MORE romantic!

I guess it makes sense that guys learn to be romantic in Michigan since we have been snowed in so much this year.  I'm scared to see the baby boom from everyone's winter activities.
