The Age Of Virginity Is Rising, Especially In College Students

This may come as a surprise (a pleasant one to parents) but more girls are waiting longer to lose their virginity.

It looks like higher education may play a very significant roll in a girls choice to have sex for the first time.

Researchers found that 69% of college girls last year waited until they were 18 to have sex for the first time…. while 12.3% lost their virginity at 17, and 9.5% said that their first time was at age 16.

But some experts say this just shows that girls that go to college are waiting longer for sex and doesn't take in account those girls that don't.
