When it comes to the rap game in Flint, the city is loaded with great talent. Here's 13 rappers that are really putting on for the city with every song they drop.

First of all I want to make it clear that this list is just me expressing who I think really has been showing that Flint is more than just another city with some rappers. Obviously my opinion is just me expressing what I like to hear and see, and anyone can argue that this list is right or wrong.

The city of Flint has emerged as one of the best cities in the state when it comes to local music. I honestly believe any of these 13 artists could take over the music industry.  Check out my list of the top 13 artists in Flint right now (in no particular order) below.

Louie Ray

When it comes to putting out good visuals and real street music, Louie Ray is in his own lane. 5 months into 2017 and he's already dropped numerous music videos and has teamed up with the artists like Tee Grizzley to show that he is on another level when it comes to the Flint rap game.

Cliff Mac

The self proclaimed 'King Of Flint', Cliff has been putting on for the city for years and has the fan base to back it up. Every show that Cliff puts on is one to remember, especially if you get the chance to see him live in Flint. With new projects on the way, its Cliff's time to prove to the world that he is the King Of Flint.

Thou

From everything from his 810 Trap movies and music videos, to directing videos for other Flint rappers, Thousand Bars has gone above and beyond to showcase his talents in the city. Thou has really done his part to put on for Flint and showcase other artists in the city as welll.

Gunhood Zeke

If you're looking for bars and wordplay there's not many that do it like Gunhood Zeke. Coming off of the major success of his bar challenge videos in 2016, Zeke is making it clear that he's more than just a "seat belt rapper". Working with 4 Our Entertainment is a great move for Zeke and will only further his career in my opinion.

Greg Joslin

When Bootleg from The Dayton Family teams up with you, you're doing something right. Joslin has been working hard with his brand 'Kush Is My Cologne' and has the feel good stoner rap genre on lock in the city of Flint. I'm really looking forward to what Joslin has in store for 2017.

_______________________________________________________________________

Ace Gabbana

There's no one, and I mean no one in the city of Flint that is as unique as Ace Gabbanna. Ace is something special that the city of Flint needs right now. From his flow, to his fashion, Ace is on a whole new level right now. I digg this Ace and Jeff Skigh track a lot just because it gives off all the feel good vibes.

_______________________________________________________________________

Tiera Santoya

Don't think there's females emcee that can drop bars just as good as any male Flint rapper? Wrong. Tiera Santoya is one of my favorites because she perfectly mixes R&B and real bars in her catalog. I will admit though that I hate when people compare female to male emcees because when it comes to Santoya she is not just a female emcee but a true emcee that could most likely out rap your favorite Flint rapper.

_______________________________________________________________________

Messo

Another Flint rapper that has no problem teaming up with Detroit rapper is Messo. Teaming up with Thousand Bars, Messo has put out so many new visuals this year already that he had to make the list. When you are putting out a new video almost every week and rapping about what its really like to live in Flint you have to be on this list.

_______________________________________________________________________

Josh McKay

Bars. Bars. Bars. That is exactly what Josh McKay is all about. "Well Josh is just another Facebook rapper"  you say? He's gotten exposure for Flint by getting on Sway In The Morning, opened up for some pretty big national acts, and is working with big name producers like Kato On The Track. That's more than just a Facebook rapper if you ask me.

_______________________________________________________________________

Jizzle

Jizzle is one of those artists that spits that real Flint rap. Many can try and replicate, but no one can really do what Jizzle has been doing these past couple of years. Whether its being on his own song or being featured, when Jizzle spits bars you know its going to be quality street music.

_______________________________________________________________________

Velly Beretta

When you're talking top artists in Flint how can you not mention Velly Beretta? From wining Coast to Coast, to taking his team to SXSW and really putting on for Flint across the country, Velly uses real life experiences and turns it into classic songs. 'Who Gets Your Love' is honestly one of the realist songs to ever come out of Flint hands down.

_______________________________________________________________________

RLSG KD

RLSG KD isn't new to the Flint rap game, but he keeps his lyrics and beats fresh every time he drops. I really like everything from this First Day Out track from the lyrics, visuals, and of course the beat which is one of the dirtiest beats I've ever heard (that's a good thing). Every time RLSG drops its a banger.

_______________________________________________________________________

Keela Kee

Keela Kee latest project #BLANCO really put me on to her work. I have a feeling this year is Keela's year to shine and put on for the city of Flint. Teaming up with Thousand Bars is really the right fit for her and the proof is in the visuals for her song 'Aint Safe'.

Again, this is simply what I see when it comes to the Flint rap scene. I know there is way more than just 13 rappers in Flint really putting on for the city, but in my opinion this is who really is shining right now. If your favorite Flint rapper didn't make the list send me a Tweet and link to their soundcloud, YouTube channel and/or video, or their social media page and I'll check them out.
