Rapper 2 Chainz was the victim of a robbery in San Fransisco over the weekend.

It was just a rumor at first but even police have confirmed that the rapper was the the victim of a armed robbery. 2 Chainz was in the streets of San Fransisco with his entourage before he was scheduled to perform for a local radio station's summer jams concert. TMZ reported the rapper was held up, but later the police mistakenly told various outlets that the rapper had not been robbed. Now, authorities are confirming it was indeed 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps.

Sgt. Dennis Toomer said 2 Chainz and five members of his entourage were walking in downtown San Francisco on Sunday afternoon when three men, including one holding a handgun approached the group. Only one shot was fired with no one being hit, the rappers cellphone and wallet were stolen.

Of course 2 Chainz took to twitter to address the situation but he really doesn't explain anything.
