The Prancing Elites are an all male dance team that caused some controversy after they appeared in the Christmas parade in Semmes, Alabama.

The Prancing Elites are gaining a lot of popularity lately as female impersonator dancers, but the parade crowd in Semmes was not thrilled with the performance.

They dressed in white Santa sweaters and tight shorts, and showed their moves all the way down main street.

Members of the community called parade organizers and posted on social media, with at least one woman demanding an apology and saying she had "never been so insulted" in her life.  Others wrote that they were disgusted and children should not have been exposed to the dancers.

Here is the news report with some of the eye-witness comments about the routine.

Check out the video of the actual parade and let us know if you think the Prancing Elites went too far.
