Saginaw's Dancing Deputy Is Getting National Recognition

Deputy Rachael Higgins is becoming known as the 'Dancing Deputy' after showing off her moves during Saginaw Spirit hockey games.

Last week video of Higgins busting out some moves at The Dow hit the internet. She became such a fan favorite, that TV5 ran a story about her.

She admitted that she loves the dance cam, but there was something more important going on as well.

It's important for the public to know that we're human too, and we make mistakes, and we like to have fun, and we are a part of the community like they are.

You can tell by the kids in the video, that she is definitely making a positive impact at the games.

Rachael has become the second famous dancing authority at events in our state. Check out the Dancing Palace usher that has become famous for his moves during the Pistons games.

She actually isnt the first famous dancing cop in Michigan, but it might not be fair to compare Rachael to the Detroit officer shown below.

After all, he was in the middle of the Movement festival, and has obviously had some serious practice.
