Discipline can be a rocky road as parent, I get it. Trust me, I've got a few hundred nieces and and nephews and they're all hard headed. And a psychological lesson can be more valuable and do more down the road then a physical lesson.

Granted, my mom beat the hell outta me as a kid because I was as close to a demon child as you can get without turning into the Omen. The lessons that stuck with me were the non-violent ones. Like cleaning the whole house, TWICE! Or buying my sister the happy meal with a toy and only giving me a cheeseburger, with no toy or drink. Now that really messed my head up....
