Valentines Day has become a day where you can show someone special how much they mean to you.

So what happens if your someone special completely forgets about you?

It happens more than you might think.

According to a survey by Expedia, nearly half of U.S. adults have been forgotten by someone on Valentine's Day.

Instead of sitting around feeling sorry for themselves, one in three responded by GETTING EVEN.

Here were the five most popular ways people vented their frustrations:

1.)  Give them a guilt trip:  10% of people have tried to make the other person feel guilty for not caring enough.

Tied for 1.)  Go out with friends:  10% went out with friends for Valentine's Day, and left the person who forgot about them home alone.

3.)  Give the silent treatment:  8% chose this option, which actually seems kinda low.

Tied at 3.)  Boycott it:  8% stopped celebrating Valentine's Day for years after.

5.)  Throw a temper tantrum:  4% admit they lost their cool and their temper.

How did you respond when you were forgotten on Valentines Day?
