Barbie's been on the scene now for nearly 60 years, and just like another mononymous female icon, she just can't help reinventing herself over and over.

On Tuesday (March 6), Barbie announced its #MoreRoleModels campaign to coincide with International Women's Day (March 8), for which the company launched seventeen new dolls designed in the likeness of various women who have changed the game in real life—from Olympic athletes to body activists, chefs and beyond.

Plus-size model Ashley Graham, Olympic gold medalists Chloe Kim and Gabby Douglas, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, conservationist Bindi Irwin and A Wrinkle in Time filmmaker Ava DuVernay are just a handful of women who were honored with their own dolls.

In addition to the campaign, Mattel also unveiled a separate "Inspiring Women" line, featuring Barbie dolls of famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson (the inspiration behind Hidden Figures) and aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart.

And don't let Barbie's questionable origins fool you; the collaboration is fitting: After all, if there's anything Barbie represents, it's that girls can be anything they want!
