Common & T-Pain ‘When I Was 17′ – MTV

Ever wonder how your favorite celebrities were before they became famous?  You know every celebrity was regular like us right?  Well MTV brings the stories of when your favorite celeb was 17 years old.  This time around, Common and T-Pain go back in time for us all.

Common is from Chicago and attended Luther High School on the south side of Chicago.  Common played ball during his high school years until an injury occurred which pushed him to rap.

T-Pain grew up in Florida and didn't have it so easy.  The Florida rapper turned singer met the love of his life at the age of 17.
