UPDATED: The city of Detroit has ordered St. Andrew's Hall to close after it was deemed unsafe following the floor's movement earlier this week.

St. Andrew's Hall said they expect to know more about upcoming performances sometime in the near future.

The floor of St. Andrew's in Detroit nearly caved in while fans were jumping around during a rap concert earlier this week.

Vegas rapper Baby Keem ended his performance early at St Andrew's this past Tuesday night for fear the floor could give way at any moment. According to Fox 2 Detroit, fans began jumping around exposing a loose joint in the floor. Luckily, there were no injuries but it did force the concert to end 30 minutes earlier than planned.

Baby Keem:

The floor is cracking so, for y’all's safety, for everyone’s safety

He didn't even have to finish his sentence. Fans knew right away the show was over and it was time to go home.

Some fans that attended the show believe the venue was over their capacity of 1,000 people.

Nick Labadie (fan):

When I got Downtown, I noticed the line was insanely long. They definitely over-sold this venue by a ton, man. I’ve never seen this venue packed as much as it was.

Live Nation who owns St. Andrew's says they never exceed capacity.

City inspectors will be out to inspect Saint Andrew's this week.

If you've been to any show at St. Andrew's, you know that floor is going to flex. This isn't shocking news to concert fans that have been there in the past. What's shocking to me is how long it's taken for this to finally happen. I mean, it's amazing the floor has held up this long.

Thankfully, no one was injured and it appears the issue is quickly resolved.

The floor flexing in the video above reminds me of the old Metropolis days in downtown Flint. So many times I thought the floor in that place was going to cave in. It was actually terrifying at times.
