Detroit Teenager Killed After Fight Breaks Out Over Nike Air Jordan Shoes

A 17-year-old teenager is dead and a 21-year-old man is injured after shots were fired over the sale of a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers.

The shooting happened on Tuesday near Loyola High School after a fight broke out over the Jordan brand shoes. What started as a fight in a car near the school led to the death of a 17-year-old teen.

According to police the group met to conduct a transaction when a passenger in the back seat initiated the shooting before fleeing the scene. Two victims were found in the street by police suffering from gunshot wounds.
