The Detroit Tigers are one of the oldest, and most most iconic franchises in all of baseball, but they were robbed in a recent poll.

The Old English D has been a part of the Tigers uniform forever, and even though the uniforms have changed over time, the D is always present. The D is featured on the Tigers hats, and they've even been voted as the best hats in baseball. That's why it came as such a surprise when the Detroit Tigers uniform was not even listed in the top 10 in a survey of the best MLB uniforms.

According to the survey, The Tigers uniform ranked as the 14th most popular uniform in baseball.

14th?! That's crazy.

That means someone thought of 13 uniforms they like better than Tigers? Let's look at who all ranked ahead of the Tigers in this bunk survey. The Cubs topped the list followed by the Yankees, Red Sox, White Sox, Cardinals, Reds, Rockies, Dodgers, Orioles, Braves, Indians, Mets, and Phillies.

(I hope you read that list with as little enthusiasm as possible, mixed in with a bit of disdain)

I think we all know that this is complete junk right? I should point out that the same site that did this poll, did a poll covering the mascots, and the Tigers ranked second there. Paws is great and all, but that doesn't make up for the uniform junk.

I realize that I'm a bit of a homer here, but I've grown up a Tigers fan, and owned my fair share of Tigers jerseys.
