In what might be the most awkward moment of this shortened NBA season, Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy confirmed and denied the exact same rumor . . . within a minute of each other!

Van Gundy told reporters that he knew that Dwight had asked management to fire him this season.  He was very clear that he knew it was true, and that he did not care.
