As schools continue to be shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, Firehouse Subs is also stepping up to help kids in need.

Many kids that go to school in Michigan depend on the free lunch programs to eat during the school day. With the schools being closed, they may not get the food they need.

Now, Firehouse Subs is trying to do their part to help. From now through the end of April, Firehouse Subs will be giving out one free kids meal with the purchase of a medium or large sub. Each kids meal comes with a choice of grilled cheese sandwich, small meatball, turkey and provolone, or ham and provolone subs, and includes a 12 oz. fountain drink or a carton of milk, dessert, and a kid-sized fire hat.
