The Flint City Bucks Are Back In Action At Atwood Stadium
Soccer is back in Flint this Saturday.
The Flint City Bucks will finally be able to celebrate their 2019 national championship with a big group of fans. The Bucks will kick off their 2021 season this Saturday in front of a home crowd at Atwood Stadium. They will take on Toledo Villa FC at 7:30 pm.
This game will mark the first time the Flint City Bucks have played in front of fans since 2019. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The season preparation has been going really well...From a team standpoint, the recruiting has gone very well. That has a lot to do with the history of the franchise and the success of 2019. I also think the fact that we played in 2020 helped us with our recruiting as well. It helped us to prepare for executing the events in 2021, because we went through a lot of the protocols and processes in 2020...said Costa Papista, Flint City Bucks team president.
For those looking to catch the game and see some live sports in Flint, tickets are on sale now. Act fast as only 1,700 fans will be allowed in the stadium on Saturday.
