Flint Community Schools Close Again Due To Heat Wave
Flint Community Schools have decided to close today due to the lack of air conditioners in class and the crazy rise in temperatures outside.
It looks like this week might be as hot as last week, if that's the case expect a few more school closings this week.
Flint Community Schools says classes are canceled on Monday, August 23.
The district says the weather is supposed to be too hot.
FCS says safety for staff and scholars is a primary concern
At this point, we probably need to start a go-fund-me for Flint Community Schools so our kids don't have to sit in this ridiculous heat. And from the looks of the weather forecast for the week, every day is gonna be crazy hot. Sprinkle in a few thunderstorms and you have a week filled with sweaty armpits and messed up hair.
