Flint Firebirds Are Providing A Free Ride To Gordie Howe’s Public Visitation Today

Gordie Howe's public visitation is today in Detroit, and the Flint Firebirds are trying to make sure that every hockey fan that wants to pay their respects, will be able too.

The Firebirds have teamed up with Blue Lakes Charters and Tours to provide free busing to Detroit today.

The buses plan on leaving the Dort Federal Event Center at 3pm today, and heading down to the visitation at Joe Louis Arena.  If you would like to get on the bus, you can email susana@flintfirebirds.com or calling 810-744-0580.

Howe is a Hockey legend, and a Michigan sports icon.  The visitation and funeral will undoubtedly be packed.

We think that with the passing of Gordie Howe, there is only one way for Detroit to honor him.  The new hockey arena should definitely be named after Howe, and now you can help by clicking below to support the petition.
