Newly appointed Mayor of Flint, Karen Weaver addressed the delay in response from government officials on the Flint water crisis.

Now that the Flint water crisis has hit the mainstream media, artists and charity organizations are helping the city with money and water. If you've lived in or around the city of Flint, you know that this crisis isn't something new.

During a press conference, Mayor of Flint Karen Weaver slammed the state government for taking almost 2 years to react to lead in the Flint river. Mayor Weaver also said that due to Flint being a minority community and a poor community our voice have not been heard. Weaver also said that Flint being surrounded by water and not having clean water is a bit odd...
