Flint Police are offering academy classes for a new volunteer reserve program that will begin October 26th.
Always wanted to be police officer? Want to help your community and make the streets a safer place to be? Now is your chance with a new program that will start on October 26th. The department is looking for 30 people to join the academy (which lasts 12 weeks) and will be assigned all over the city of Flint.
Flint Police are looking for volunteers that will help patrol the city and also help out during big city events like The Crim and Back To The Bricks.
Training will happen ever Wednesday and Saturday. To fill out an application visit the patrol desk at the department.
