Ford Field’s Massive COVID-19 Clinic Is Now Open

The huge COVID-19 clinic at Ford Field is now open and will remain open for two months with over 350,000 vaccines for Michiganders.

This is the largest effort to date to get us to that herd immunity goal that we all desperately want.

All Michigan residents eligible to receive the vaccine according to state guidance are allowed to register.

As of Monday, 110,000 people have done so.

To register for a vaccine at Ford Field, you can go online at clinic.meijer.com/register/CL2021, or text EndCOVID to 75049. You can also call the COVID-19 hotline at 888-535-6136 (press 1). Source:NBC25.com 

Now you do have to get registered in order to receive a vaccine. All the info you need for that is in the link above. The process seems pretty simple and hopefully, this will get us over that recent spike in Michigan COVID-19 cases.

Some people are still hesitant to receive their shot and that's understandable. I don't trust the first wave of anything! Whether it's the new iPhone or new whatever, I don't trust the first generation of a new product or redesign. The vaccine has been out for a while now though and I'm seeing a lot of positive responses. So I feel like now is the perfect time to get your shot and have peace of mind at the same time.
