Former Michigan State Trooper Pleads Guilty For Embezzling Over $170,000
31-year-old Seth Swanson of Royal Oak, MI pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement by a public official. Swanson also pleaded guilty to one count of publishing false Secretary of State documents.
Former Michigan State trooper Seth Swanson has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $170,000 from salvage inspection fees over a period of 18-months.
Swanson used the embezzled fees to make personal purchases such as vacations, plastic surgery, and also used the money to pay off credit-card debt.
According to reports though Swanson will most likely not face the full punishment due to the former trooper pleading guilty to limit the maximum punishment.
