GM Bringing 200+ Jobs To Flint With The 2019 Chevy Silverado Diesel

GM is bringing jobs to Flint with the announcement that the 2019 Silverado Diesel engine would be built at the engine plant in Flint.

This is a follow up to the $250 Million investment in Flint that GM announced two years ago. The best part of the announcement is that the new engine production should bring in more than 200 new jobs to Flint.

ABC12 reports that this is the first time a true Turbomax Diesel engine will be built in Flint.

Most people in Genesee County are very excited about the news, hoping that the new jobs will help to boost the recovering economy in Flint.
