For the most part, every parent and child knows which streets and houses have the best candy every year. Some families set up caravans to visit multiple neighborhoods and some just have one great go-to for their yearly journey. However, just because you have your traditional stops doesn't mean you have to stick with them every year.

Last week I found an article that listed two Michigan cities in the Top 18 in the nation for trick-or-treating. Those two cities were Dearborn and Romeo. Dearborn makes sense with Hallowe'en in Greenfield Village, but what's so special about Romeo? Well, Romeo is home to "Terror on Tillson Street."

Halloween on Tillson Street is an amazing place when it comes to trick or treating. Around 30 homes on Tillson Street participate and really go the extra mile when it comes to decorations and handing out candy. It is one of the safest and most family-friendly areas to venture out on Halloween. The entire street is closed to traffic and the Romeo Bulldogs high school football team volunteers to walk the street and keep kids safe, find lost kids and belongings, and more.

Be sure to get there early as the residents of Tillson Street see thousands of visitors every year for Halloween. In recent years, Halloween on Tillson Street expected around 20,000 guests or more. Keep in mind that the street is closed from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm with candy being distributed from 6 pm until 8 pm. Check out just some of the photos of Tillson Street, but pictures can't quite do this whole event justice. You've got to go see it for yourself. For more information and details, click here.

Happy Halloween!
