Spoiler alert, not everything on the internet is true. We know that statement may be hard to believe. Sometimes people post fake news online to scam others, and sometimes bogus posts are made just for fun, especially when it comes to local community Facebook pages.
Case in point the Lapeer News & Discussion Facebook page. Just yesterday someone posted the following message on the popular page,

Lapeer News & Discussion moderator Christopher Carey was quick to let followers on the page know, this is fake news.
As for Flanagan's Pizza Buffet owner Aaron Corneail, he posted a hilarious response to the rumor on social media,
For the most part comments on the original Facebook post, people got the joke. Yes, again to be clear - someone put this post up as a joke.
What is real is Flanagan's Pizza Buffet is in downtown Lapeer and ready to serve you. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza for less than $10. For more on the new Flanagan's Pizza Buffet, click here.
In other Kid Rock news, the superstar has ended his boycott against Bud Light. No, that is not fake news.
