While lulls in the work are necessary as equipment arrives, etc. There are visual signs progress is being made.

Hill Road Traffic Signal Upgrades

New signal poles, crosswalk signals and traffic signals have been installed at Fenton and Hill Roads. Now, crews are working eastward.

Work is currently happening near the intersection of Hill Rd and Grand Pointe Blvd near Applebee's and Speedway.

Looking closely, you notice signals will no longer hang immediately over the intersection.

While some signals are not being replaced, timing will be improved along the entire roadway.

Expect single lane closures. Workers will be in bucket trucks, as you can see above, stringing wires, etc.
