Girl Scout Cookies are practically their own "season" in Michigan. A little like "Road Construction Season," but much more enjoyable.

Well, we received some surprising news for next year's cookie selling season.

Michigan Girl Scout Cookie Prices

While cookie prices are set within each chapter for its region, they're not getting less expensive.

In 2014, most boxes were around $4.00 each. Now, according to CBS News, prices might increase to $6.00 per box in some places around the country. And that's up from $5.00 last season.

We love to support Girl Scouts and think the cookies are addictingly delicious, but dang. Inflation is, of course, the reason.

Which Girl Scout cookie flavor is being discontinued?

Since the organization has been around 100 years, they're not getting rid of the most popular "OG" cookie flavor Thin Mint. That's the number one best-selling cookie.

Nor will Do-si-dos / Peanut Butter Sandwich, Samoas / Carmel deLites or Peanut Butter Patties / Tagalongs.

It turns out last year's internet-only Girl Scout Cookie, Raspberry Rally, which sold out very quickly... is being discontinued.

The organization told Today the reason.

While Raspberry Rally was extremely popular last year, we are taking a pause this season to prioritize supplying our classic varieties.

If you see these on eBay, know they're last year's stock being sold by some random person.

For a sister-cookie to "Thin Mints" it sure got popular in a hurry. We're sad to see the Raspberry Rally go.
