Lil Nas X is brushing off Dave East's criticism of his No. 1 song "Old Town Road."

During an interview on the Zach Sang Show posted Monday (April 22), the viral country-rap star bluntly admitted how he feels about the Harlem rapper's thoughts about his song. Now that the Atlanta-based artist has a remix from Young Thug and rides around on horses with his G.O.A.T Billy Ray Cyrus for fun, Nas X says he couldn't care less what East has to say.

"I honestly have gotten this question so many...it's like I have the No. 1 song in the country, I do not give a fuck about what Dave East is saying," Lil Nas X said.

Last week (April 17), East held an Instagram Live session in which he gave his honest opinion about the chart-topping single. The 30-year-old MC asserted that he's no hater but dubbed the song "super wack."

"That fuckin' 'Old Town Road' shit is fucking wack," Dave said. "I don’t know what the fuck is going on with hip-hop, with rap but...I ain’t no hater, man, but that shit is wack with a cape on it. It’s super wack!"

Before he spoke on East's comments, Lil Nas X described his excitement when he found out that his song also broke Billboard's weekly streaming record, which was once held by Drake.

"It's insane," Lil Nas X said about breaking the record. "Drake... Drake... who's been in the game for so long and you know made huge records. It's insane."
