Little Miss Flint, Mari Copeny, Honored At The 2019 Teen Choice Awards

Mari Copeny is known around the world as Little Miss Flint, and she received some much deserved recognition at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards.

Mari was featured during the pre-show festivities along with a group of incredible kids. They were being honored by Crayola as part of the 'Take Note' campaign. The goal is to spotlight kids around the country who do exceptional things for their community.

We obviously know what a special person Mari is here in Flint, and it's nice to see her get some well deserved national attention. Mari is an amazing role model for any kid, but especially for kids growing up in Flint. She and her organization Pack Your Back have put on countless community events in Flint.

Mari's mom posted on Facebook shortly after the segment aired on FOX last night.

This is the second award that Mari has won for her hard work. Earlier this year she was honored at the Shorty Awards, winning the Best In Activism award.

I feel like I say this every time I write about Mari, but I'll say it again.

THANK YOU! Thank you for what you do for Flint, but more importantly, thank you for showing other kids in Flint that anything is possible.
