The Internet Reacts to the Government Shutdown

Congress couldn't get it together enough to agree on something, and now foreign tourists are going to miss their one chance to see the Statue of Liberty. The government has shut down (mostly)!

While federal employees are going without work or pay (some of them, not Congress), that's not stopping people from making jokes on the internet. Here are a few examples. Hopefully they're enough to tide you over, and this shutdown will be over soon.
