Gov.Gretchen Whitmer has approved some financial incentives through the Child Care Stabilization Grant for Michigan Child Care workers which they should be receiving very soon.

This new grant will help raise wages and salaries for child care workers making it more appealing for such an important field. I've seen firsthand how tough it can get trying to raise a child. These programs are somewhat necessary for families nowadays especially with our economy all over the place with inflation pretty raising the price on everything around us.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced on Monday the launch of the Child Care Stabilization Grant, a $350 million grant for child care facilities that workers hope could be a long-awaited step toward fixing Michigan's child care crisis.

The grant money comes from the American Rescue Plan, signed by President Joe Biden in March.

Any way we can keep child care workers around I'm all for it. I can't think of a more taxing/important job besides being a teacher. You're literally in a field helping to groom the next generation of leaders and doctors and it all starts with a great upbringing, with great people. So when I see things like I hope it inspires more people to get involved in the child care process and to help ease of burden of the economy going left with inflation with increased wages and salaries.
