Michigan Gas Prices Up 36 Cents Compared To Last Year
AAA Michigan says gas prices in Michigan are up 15 cents over the last week and up 36 cents compared to this time last year.
Michigan drivers may be noticing a jump in gas prices, and compared to 2016's numbers there's been a steady climb into the $2.30 - $2.50 a gallon range.
The average price of a gallon of gas is $2.45 according to AAA, a 15 cent increase compared to 2016. The highest price for a gallon is in Jackson where drivers are paying on average $2.48 a gallon. Lowest price is $2.39 per gallon in Marquette.
