Michigan Will Be Warmer Than Usual This Summer
Don't worry about the fact that it snowed this week, forecasters are talking about a sunny, warm summer for Michigan.
This summer is shaping up to be unlike any summer before it in Michigan due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but Mother Nature doesn't know that. According to the NOAA, the temps throughout the summer months in Michigan will be a few degrees warmer than normal. There will be a normal amount of precipitation, but the main thing is that the sun will be out more.
I don't know if it's because of the quarantine or what, but it feels like we go weeks without seeing the sun. Michigan winters are hard enough as it is, so to have a spring where one day it's 60 and the next it snows, is tough to deal with.
I think even though we won't be able to have a traditional Michigan summer this year, it will still be nice to see the sun for more than two days in a row.
Before I get to far in front of myself though, let's remember that this is still Michigan weather. We all know that predicting what is going to happen later in the day is next to impossible, so guessing what it will be like in a few months is kind of a joke.
