When Tigers manger Jim Leyland announced that Miguel Cabrera was cleared to play he said it wasn't good news . . . it was great news!

'Miggy' fractured his orbital bone after taking a ball hit sharply to third base took a bad hop and hit him in the face.

He is expected to take part in some conditioning with the team this week, and most importantly he will be in the lineup for opening day.
