Flint residents will be able to get much needed health screenings and have a great time at the Mission of Hope health fair.

Saturday May 13th is the fifth annual Mission of Hope health fair, and it couldn't come at a more important time.  Everyone knows that Flint has been dealing with a health emergency since the start of the Flint Water Crisis, but not everyone has taken the proper steps to make sure they are healthy.

The goal of the Mission of Hope health fair is that residents who may not have access to health information will be able to be screened.  The fair also aims to bring together our community that has been under so much negativity lately.

In addition to information on how to battle the effects of the Flint Water Crisis, residents can also receive free food and clothes if needed.

You can get more information about the Mission of Hope health fair on their website or Facebook page.

The event happens at 4618 Roberts St. in Flint.  Things get started around Noon, and will go till 4pm.  If you have any more questions, you can call Bobby at 259-2360.
