MSU Selling Cardboard Cutouts of Fans to Fill Stadium
Even with COVID-19 restrictions, diehard Spartan fans will still be able to support their team in the stands… well kinda.
Michigan State University announced that they will be selling cardboard cutouts for fans who still want their presence known in Spartan Stadium. The new novelty is on sale just in time for the kick-off to the season.
Michigan State has joined forces with a company called Perk Social to offer up cutouts for fans wanting to show their green and white spirit. Addition of the pseudo- fans to the stadium will allow Spartan lovers to still feel part of the games, as well as add some revenue to the athletic department that’s getting a late start to their normal season.

If you’re interested in showing off your Spartan pride you’ll need to place your order soon. The cutouts will be sold on a first-come, first serve basis. For those wanting to be in the stands by the home opener against Rutgers, they will need to have the order placed no later than October 17.
The cutouts will cost $55 for season ticket holders, $75 for sideline and end zone sections and $50 for MSU students, Jr. Spartan Club members, and pets. If you fall in love with your cutout so much that you want to take it home with you, you’ll need to pay an additional $25 for shipping and handling when the season is over.
If you're ready to join a new form of 'Flat Stanley' at Spartan Stadium you’ll be present for all of the home games including a possible game on December 19. That game will be the cross-divisional consolation games the Big Ten has started for the upcoming season.
You can get your cutout Sparty by clicking here.
