School Bus Crashes Into Ditch In Mt. Morris Township, Children Are Evacuated

A school bus slid off of the road in Mt. Morris, and into a ditch. The kids were forced to evacuate the bus, but fortunately all of the kids made it off safely.

WNEM is reporting that the accident happened on Amelia Avenue near Myrtle Avenue in Mount Morris Township around 8am this morning.  They are also reporting that the bus is leaning over the ditch where if finally stopped.

The crash isn't surprising considering there were countless accidents on Genesee County roadways this morning.  Please be careful wherever you are headed today, and make sure to get there safely.

It needs to be noted that the bus was not from Mt. Morris schools, just that the accident happened in Mt. Morris township.
