MTA Flint Reducing Fares and Adding Free Family Rides On Sundays
Flint's Mass Transportation Authority has always stepped up for our city, and this summer will be no different.
MTA Flint announced this week that they would not only be offering reduced fares throughout the summer, but they are also starting free family rides on Sundays. I've worked with the MTA on so many charitable projects ranging from veterans help to the American Cancer Society. The Flint MTA were also one of the first organizations to step up and help people living in fresh food deserts in Genesee County.
The announcement about the free family rides on Sundays came out Wednesday, with the program starting this Sunday, June 7th.
Ed Benning is the MTA GM/CEO, and he talked about why this is so important to do for Flint right now on their website.
We live in a great community that has always supported the MTA services and this is our way of helping out during these difficult times
