Mundy Township Police Issue Gas Pump Warning To Residents

The Mundy Township Police are telling everyone to keep a close eye on their bank accounts if they've used their card at the pump lately.

There has been a big problem with credit card theft at the pumps in Michigan lately, and it looks like there may be a focus on Mundy Township now.

The Police say that they've contacted numerous area gas stations after receiving several reports of fraudulent activities.

There were no specific stations listed, but they did note that most of the activity happened at stations located near expressways.

The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to pay inside, but with the cold temps lately, paying at the pump is much easier.  If you do decide to pay at the pump, then make sure to check your bank statement regularly.
