After announcing its partnership with the NBA this past summer, Nike unveiled the brand new statement edition uniforms that’ll be used this 2017-18 NBA season over the weekend.

Presenting the new, innovative uniforms during a global launch event at Sony Studios in Los Angeles, the NBA and Nike previewed all 32 uniforms that’ll be worn during the upcoming regular season. Dubbed as the Statement Edition uniform kits, the jerseys feature a brand new modern look with several updates made to the aesthetic of the jerseys. Joining the Association and Icon uniform kits that the NBA and Nike unveiled back in August, the Statement Edition jerseys serve as an alternate jersey for all 32 teams, with a fourth edition said to be unveiled in the months to come.

Along with unveiling the latest alternate jerseys, the NBA and Nike also presented the innovative Connected Jersey—a smart jersey that comes equipped with an embedded chip allowing fans to connect with real-time player content and team content through the brand new NikeConnect app that’s available for download now through all smartphones. In addition to the latest uniform kits, the Swoosh also presented the brand new uniform warm-up kits with the unveiling of the Nike Therma Flex Showtime warm-up jacket.

To add a hip-hop element to the global launch event, the NBA and Nike tapped Houston rapper Travis Scott to help ring in the celebration of the brand new partnership. Wearing a brand new Chris Paul Houston Rockets jersey, La Flame gave attendees an energetic performance with his set.

The Nike NBA Connected Jersey will be available exclusively online starting Friday, Sept. 29, via Nike retailers and online at nike.com. The Statement Edition jerseys will release to the general public on Monday, Nov. 20, with the NBA players scheduled to rock the jerseys on-court on Nov. 25.
