Pickpocket In Detroit Messes With The Wrong 72 Year Old Veteran [Video]

Chet Dunham is the 72 year old veteran who was targeted by a pickpocket near Detroit recently, but the criminal learned quickly he was messing with the wrong man.

Security camera footage shows the moment Dunham walks past the 23-year-old thief. Seconds later the thief reaches over into Dunham's pocket, trying to steal his wallet.

With some quick cane work, Dumham spun and knocked the would be thief back.  When the criminal realized he was not in a good position, he quickly said he was only joking.  Dunham walked into the nearest business and called the police.

The thief was arrested.  Authorities said the suspect is an unemployed high school dropout who lives with his mother, and he’s being held on $5,000 bail.

I think we can chalk this one up for the good guys.
