Multiple media outlets are reporting on Thursday that after a meeting of the NBA players still playing in the Orlando playoff bubble, the players have decided to continue and finish the ongoing NBA Playoffs after there were no games on Wednesday night.

There is no official word as to when the playoffs will resume, speculation is that they'll resume this coming weekend.  But there will be no games played on Thursday night (There were three scheduled).

Thursday's decision to play comes one day after the Milwaukee Bucks (up 3 games to 1 in their first-round playoff series) decided to boycott their game against the Orlando Magic in protest of the recent shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin this past weekend.  After that happened, the NBA announced they were postponing, but not canceling the other two playoff games scheduled for Wednesday night.

The postponement of action by the NBA players prompted other leagues to postpone play as well.  Major League Soccer, the WNBA, and three Major League Baseball games were postponed as players in those sports protested the Jacob Blake shooting.
