Report Says Flint Roads Among Most Deteriorated in the Country

A national study says Flint's roads are among the most deteriorated in the country.

WNEM says research from TRIP, a national transportation research group, showed more than 50 percent of the major roads in the Flint area are in poor condition. The group said those roads are costing drivers $839 a year in operating costs.

Flint ranked first among urban areas with 250,000 to 500,000 residents. Two other mid-sized Michigan cities also ranked towards the top of the list. Lansing was ranked 10th and Ann Arbor was ranked 25th.
