Swartz Creek Schools sent a text alert to parents today that the district would be closed for the rest of the week due to illness.

As many as three cases of meningitis that have been reported in the schools.  One student was in the middle school, and one more serious case was in the high school. There has been a suspected case in an elementary school as well.  The closure was recently announced on their FB page.

The closure is so that they can deep clean the school to try and prevent the spread to any other students.  The school posted the following letter to parents regarding the case of viral meningitis on their website.
